PayPal: Developer Mode to Integrate in Laravel, Django... - 20
Let's talk about how to implement PayPal in the app in Django.
Let's talk about how to implement PayPal in the app in Django.
The next step we are going to take would be to begin the integration with PayPal since we are supposed to already have the products here and we already have the detail view ready.
I don't think I need to introduce PayPal unless you live in a cave, which I suppose you don't because there is no internet there. I suppose you already know what this famous payment platform is, which in theory is very safe and everything else, so here we have it. It's basically an electronic wallet in which we can put money so that later on the websites that are linked to the service, which are many.
PayPal takes care of everything, since it's not the same as, as they say, you put your credit card and you trust that the application in which you are registering that data is not going to charge you more or simply then it covers whatever it wants, meaning that it pays you on a recurring basis or whatever. You have to put PayPal and either the application makes a request to PayPal that you have to authorize and then finally the payment is made and with that it releases the products to you. That's basically it. In the same way, there's a lot of information out there when we start to implement it, you'll see a little bit of the joke. All this, in case you didn't see it, is very good, obviously at this point. You have to have a PayPal account again you have to have a PayPal account because if not you can't move forward obviously I can't lend you mine so well you have to create one and if you don't have one you won't be able to move forward in this section in which we are going to integrate PayPal with our application again
So the first thing we have to do, well, to create an account on PayPal, you simply have to come here to paypal.com. I'm going to open an incognito window here because I already have it authenticated. You have to open an account and follow the steps. There's not much mystery with that. The typical thing is that once you have your PayPal account, which is the normal one, it's the personal one. You don't need the business one. If you have a business account, I suppose you can also do all this. The thing is that I don't have it then, but in principle it's the same. So you simply come here to developer developer.paypal.com. If not, type it in Google developer PayPal and it would be the first link:
https://developer.paypal.com/home/
And on the previous page, from the developer environment, you must create a test application (or use the one that's already available) and obtain the public and secret key that we will use to configure the payment gateway.
