I'll talk about what it means that all books are defined as "In Development."

I want to talk a little about what it means for a book to be in development, and note that this also applies perfectly or directly to courses, since for my modern books and courses they share the same content, so I'm going to start by saying what this doesn't mean; it doesn't mean that the course or the book is incomplete.

What is not

What I mean is that I'm selling content that isn't available yet, which is very common out there, but I don't work that way. If I haven't completed the course, the book, or whatever, I haven't placed all the content there. I would classify it in another way, since I usually don't sell it until I finish all the content. I also put a "but" there, since it also depends on the type of book. For example, this one from Flutter, which is for components and animations, which as you can see or suggest its name, are simply small experiments, very small experiments that we place, and therefore, based on the size of the book, I give it a price accordingly.

For example, if you have them in this case, they are very cheap, the price will not appear here, well, this one of 3.4 and it is because it is a fairly small book, when I decide it has about 160 pages, which for me is little, when I decide, for example, to give it more content and have it have some 250 pages, 300 pages, I will raise the price accordingly, so I work that way, therefore, they are usually free updates and therefore, the person who initially bought it can, as they say, enjoy that discount that is being given to date, but that is my way of working, therefore, returning here to the books that are more sequential like this one, that is the first thing I want to tell you, the content that I am placing is in accordance with the price, therefore

Although for me or for everyone it is impossible for me to say, look, this is the Bible for x technology because they are always going to be changing, they are always going to be adding new things based on the price and based on the classification or the syllabus that you will always find accompanied by the book, all that content will be available, so yes, all the content is available.

What does it mean that it is in development

What does it mean that it is in development? As you should know well if you have known my work a little or have consumed my work, I work alone, therefore one of the disadvantages that we can have is that all the revisions, all the content, basically 100% of the elaboration of this content is prepared by me, therefore it is prone to errors, that I make mistakes either in some words, in some terminology, in some grammar, then I have to review it, so what I do is that every so often I go over it. This certain time can be months or it can be years, for example, with Electron, I think I haven't touched it for like two years, which I will see if I touch it to date to make a renewal there and add more content, but that is the main thing, it can contain errors of any type of code, some content that I have missed, some grammar, some word that sometimes escapes, mostly of that type, and I also give this a little at the beginning, that many times I go as who says giving books, books in incomplete quotes.

Although again, be careful that I tie this directly to the price. If the book does not have all the content that I want to include, I put a price below it. Therefore, I also note this to what I was commenting on before. It is impossible to make a book a complete course. Therefore, this is something a little ambiguous, but in personal terms, I always want to include more and more content. This is something that you can, for example, see in the book Laravel Base.

Little by little I create the complete book that I want

So I can read it a little as if I were a reader and that helps me a lot to correct errors and obviously improve the quality of the book and at the same time I take advantage of what was commented and I also add more content and that is why it takes me quite a while, for example, to the date right now that Abel 11 came out. A very long process

I started in March and now it is December 26, 2024, therefore I have been working all year. On the one hand, working on the Ara del Base course, which took up a large part of the year and since I did the re-recording from scratch of the Ara de Base course with this also of the book adding more content, I went to work directly with Inertia and Lightware, which to this day I am still working on those versions, therefore it can be said that I have been here for practically a year since I have not finished making content only for Laravel, therefore I have worked both on the courses of the aforementioned technology and also on the books, renewing their content from scratch and placing the latest versions, which is precisely the 11 to date. So in summary, when I put that a book is in development it means that in the future I am going to give it a review either to update the technology, for example, the versioning of Laravel and to make minor corrections and of course to add more content and that the book has all the content that I have thought it should have, so also remember
